The time has come! I’m putting together a street team to help promote the release of Soulmatch, my debut YA dystopian romance coming summer 2025 from Simon & Schuster!!

What’s Soulmatch about?

Soulmatch is an upper-YA dystopian romance set 200 years from now when you must report to the government on your 18th birthday to learn about your past lives and if you have a soulmate. Good souls leave with an inheritance and their career path. Bad souls leave in handcuffs.

Soulmatch includes all my favorite romance tropes! Hate to love, forced proximity, slow burn, forbidden romance, soulmates, love triangle, cinnamon role love interest, dark and broody love interest (yes, both!), there’s even a fake dating scene! Oh, and did I mention the savvy heroine, witty banter, and angst for days? If you loved Divergent, Matched, Scythe, and The Queen’s Gambit (so many chess analogies), you’ll love Soulmatch!

What’s a street team?

It’s just an unnecessarily intimidating name for a group of passionate friends and book lovers who want to help promote Soulmatch by:

• Posting about Soulmatch on social media and/or commenting on and sharing my posts.

• Adding Soulmatch to your Goodreads TBR and lists.

• Reviewing Soulmatch (after you’ve read it) on Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, and/or your other reading trackers.

• Asking your local library and bookstores to order copies.

• Passing out bookmarks and other swag to your book-loving friends.

• Recommending Soulmatch for your next book club.

• Helping me brainstorm clever marketing ideas.

That sounds like a lot. Do I have to do ALl of those things?

Nope! You get to pick and choose! I’ll gladly take whatever help I can get!

What are the perks of joining the street team?

Are there any Guidelines to follow?

I’ll provide my street team with copy, graphics, and swag to make posting and talking about Soulmatch as easy as possible. Please help build excitement by teasing these items until it’s time for the official announcements (ie. don’t spoil the fun!).

I hope this goes without saying, but please do NOT disparage or “review bomb” other authors on my behalf. Those are my friends! We’re all cheering for each other in this very stressful but exciting journey. In fact, I very much encourage you to post about other authors and add their books to your TBRs and reading lists as well!
